Best Fuel Injector Cleaner -

Cayman 2.7 rev needle wiggle on idle???

  • I am going to fill the car up with Shell Vpower fuel and add some Redex injector cleaner to see if this helps. This is when the air con is off and on, so it isn't anything to do with that kicking in. The oil level is spot on, so is the coolent, and the car was serviced 3 months ago by an independent Porsche dealer. When I drive the car and hold the speed steady at a certain speed, eg 40 mph, I can notice the rev needle still wiggling. 7 and for the last month I have noticed a wiggle with my rev counter on idle.

Kata Kata Galau Cinta Yoedha

Kata Kata Galau If after you’ve checked the fuel filter and purchase only the best gasoline the car still wouldn’t run smoothly, then the fuel injectors might not be working properly. If you want the car to give you continuous good performance, you have to purchase branded gasoline that contains cleaner additives for fuel injection. Changing only one injector will give you better car performance but if you want maximum performance, you have to change all the fuel injectors. Kata Kata Galau Cinta Before anything else, you should first check the car’s fuel filter.

why wont my ducati start? i have a 2005 ducati ss800. I cant get it to start. It cranks for a while and tries but wont start. i didnt properly store it for winterization, which i now know. The battery was low so i charged it up and I am sure it is ok now. I didnt have hardly any fuel in the tank while it sat for about 3 months ( maybe half gallon ) I put new gas in and even put in fuel injector cleaner. I tried to use some engine starting fluid that I sprayed into the intake but nothing. I do not know a whole lot about bikes and maybe should but I want to try and figure this out here instead of having to put it on a truck and driving 2 hours away to a dealership. It was running great before it sat for so long. Is there any thing you can think of to help me?

Frank | Jun 25, 2013
Yeah b prepared to spend money on a tune up because u probably one of those who puts cheapest gas and now its clogged up everything
james | Jun 25, 2013
your duck has bad fuel and gum up carbs . if your going to be a biker then drive the thing sitting is wors then running to death .
J J | Jun 25, 2013
So Frank the cycle mechanic was a lot of help. You said you sprayed starting fluid in it and got nothing so why would he talk about cheap fuel when it is obvious your not getting spark.
Wondrer | Jun 25, 2013
In two wheeler, check spark plug. clean its end.

Will fuel injector cleaner cause problems, specifically causing my car to be unable to idle after turning over?

Last night I added a small bottle of fuel injector cleaner to my Pontiac Grand AM 2004 on a full gas tank and I drove my car about 25 miles this morning without any problems. I parked my car about an hour ago, then just barely went out to start it up and it will turn over as usual but will not continue running or idling, it just quietly dies / ceases to run. Could this be caused by the fuel injector cleaner???

Maria | Jun 23, 2013
Hi try to keep it running until all the junk from maybe your fuel tank it should works. Try maybe replacing your Fuel filter to. crabyshiu
mdk68gto, ase certified m tech | Jun 23, 2013
That is not likely the source of the problem. That small bottle mixed into a full tank of gas has a very low concentration so The density should not be high enough for a problem.
myhippiedaddy | Jun 23, 2013
You should never add it to a fuel tank cause it is heaver the fuel and most of the time it goes to the bottom of the tank and will not mix. B12 is really bed about that. you will just have to run the engine till it burns it all out.
Pete M | Jun 23, 2013
Sounds like you've got a dirty fuel filter. Injector cleaner wouldn't cause a problem with running. Replace your fuel filter and the problem should be fixed.

Believe me ... this stuff really works !!!!About 10 years ago (circa 1998) I performed an overnightexperiment using three fuel injector cleaners. Techronwas one of them and I cannot even remember the name of theother cleaners. But, here is an account of what I did:I took three old sparkplugs with noticeable carbon depositsand placed them in individual containers and then I pouredsamples of the three fuel injector cleaners into theseparate containers to immerse and soak the sparkplug tipsovernight with the separate fuel injector cleaners.24 hours later the Techron successfully dissolved the carbon depositsand the other two "fuel injector cleaners" did NOTHING!!!!!So I decided to use the Techron fuel system cleaneron my Cadillac with a Throttle Body Injection (TBI)system -- which was starting to hesitateon acceleration and had developed an engine murmur.I was so... 5/5 M. By the end of the tank I had marvelous response. Do not be surprised by some sputter or exhaust smoke with the gunk burnoff. Worked amazing. Lubricates well, increases mpg, not a great cleaner

This product does bump mpg a couple percentage points, especially on middle aged engines, but the effect wears off when the treatment runs out. The mpg increases aren't a result of your engine getting much cleaner, but due to less friction between the piston and the wall. This is why it is marketed primarily as an "UPPER CYLINDER Lubricant" (UCL). The bottle also claims to help valves seal better, presumably by filling in any small gaps with its oily viscosity. If this or piston/wall gap is way out of spec I doubt this or any other "filler" will help improve compression much.If there is so much carbon on a valve that is not sealing you'll be better off pouring a dedicated cleaner like Seafoam through the intake. It also helps if your car is burning oil due to carbon-ed up oil control rings. It is doubtful that Lucas UCL will clear major deposits, but perhaps it helps keep deposits away in the first place if used regularly on a healthy, well maintained engine. If your... 4/5 Lindsay (NY, United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Lucas 10020 Fuel Treatment - 5.25 oz. Ethanol Damage Reducer

Listen folks google Ethanol Damage and see what is going on these days. Our engines are being burnt up due to the ethanol in our gas. You have to use something to help with the drying effect of ethanol. I use a couple things, MMO Techron and this product. Techron is a great cleaner, but does not help lubricate the upper cylinder and this product does. MMO is like between the two products, a decent cleaner and a decent lube. Lucas Upper Cylinder is the "Lube" only, even though it says cleaner it is not. The "cleaner" is a product they use in oil that cleans, but not in the sense as you know what a cleaner is. The cleaner in MMO and Techron are flat out solvents which are very good cleaners. This product has no solvent, and the cleaner is an additive that cleans similar to what calcium does for engine oil. Whether or not you "feel" a difference has nothing to do with your cylinders needing this lube to protect your engine. Bottle (Automotive) I am somewhat of a Royal Purple fan boy at this point. I have to say when I saw this product released I said to myself, "What does Royal Purple know about fuel cleaning?" I bought it anyhow. I use shell gasoline to try to keep my fuel system clean. Additionally, I run techron fuel system cleaner through pretty often because my car is aging and has never had a fuel filter change. I was skeptical to say the least. As others stated this is enough liquid to do multiple treatments for some vehicles, a definite plus. Long story short, I put it in my car after having run techron only a month before and have seen sustained improvements in my fuel economy. I won't be buying techron again. It's not a miracle worker, but it helps and if it helps out an aging fuel pump it is well worth the money. I will be buying more. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , September 27, 2013

Local Nissan Dealer recommended for Injectors

So I keep up with my car and every aspect of its maintenance. I drive a 1996 Nissan Maxima which just hit 300,000 miles and the modification that I have on the engine as far as intake and exhaust I am getting about 30 miles to the gallon highway. So lately when i start my car it almost sounded like a misfire for about 10 seconds and then it would go away. This was only happening from a cold start so my mechanic told me that it sounds like an injector leaking fuel into the chamber from a dirty head, or it could be a coolant leak on the cylinder head. That last one scared me as i did not want to have to change my engine or do a head gasket job. I called my Nissan dealer and they said 3M fuel injector cleaner is recommended for my car. Not surprised since the car is new.The engine is definitly quieter in the morning when 1st started (cold start). (I start the motor in the garage with my window open, so all the engine sounds are amplified)I will continue to use this additive to prevent fuel system problems and offset the negative effects of methanol...Usage: Label instructions are "2-3oz per 10gals". Having a new car I use 2oz per 10gal, or 1oz per 5gal every time I buy gas. I took one of my wife's 1/4 cup measuring cups which is 2oz. I add the treatment when I get home. Keeps... Check engine light!!!

So, the "check engine" light came on two of our vehicles, 1) 1998 Dodge Dakota truck V6 with 175K 2) 1999 Honda Accord V6 with 145k. I figured it was the O2 sensor on the truck and I was a bit upset with the Honda as we had just paid for a full tune up and then the darn "check engine" light came on. Prior to the tune up on the Honda we were experiencing hesitation when stepping on the gas from a stop, local oil change place suggested a fuel injector cleaning, we did that which helped somewhat. Full tune helped even more, but then the light came on.While waiting for a oil change at W-mart I saw this product on the shelf, I figured it couldn't hurt and added 3oz to both fuel tanks on the Dakota and the Honda. I just drove about a quarter of a tank on the truck and when I started it up this afternoon the "check engine" light was gone! I called my daughter who now has the Honda and she said light and the hesitation is totally gone!I went to their website and... 5/5 mrtoad (SHORELINE, WA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Lucas 10013 Fuel Treatment - 1 Gallon (Automotive) So, the "check engine" light came on two of our vehicles, 1) 1998 Dodge Dakota truck V6 with 175K 2) 1999 Honda Accord V6 with 145k. Works to smooth engine

0 5/5 Wutisay (Charlottesville, Virginia) - See all my reviews This review is from: Lucas 10013 Fuel Treatment - 1 Gallon (Automotive) I have a 2008 Silverado truck with over 125,000 miles that started to idle rough. I also noticed that the fuel economy had dropped about one mile per gallon. I tried this product and within a few tanks of gas, the rough idle was significantly diminished and I was back to my regular MPG. The truck definitely runs smoother, and that is the biggest plus from this product, so far. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 7, 2011
